I'm like, "you know you could have a few of these, for the numbers you paid for that floating tour bus?".

Sometimes they look at me as if I just confirmed Santa Claus is real, or that he is very unreal. Funny stuff. These cars are so fun, and CHEAP fun, in comparison to our floating babies!

I agree... I pull up with my boat and F650 and get a few lookers and comments. BUT.... Anywhere I go with the lambo you would of thought I was a billionaire. The car starts every time, does exactly what it's supposed to, and never gives any headaches. I think the boat thing is just a very bad personal addiction.

Also I think the car gets more chicks then the boat.

    "very bad"... such diplomatic skills...

With our boats when running them to the pin at least you do not get in trouble with Joe Law (providing common sense is somewhat used), I know I'd run into a snag or two if I would beat on hi-perf car the way I beat on my MTI. Thus being fully delusional justifying my addiction...

Great Lambos on this thread......Cars are more easily financed, sold/traded, insured and easier/cheaper to operate than the average powerboat. Lambo's are sharing more parts with Audi (from gauges to motors) so it is making Audi's faster and Lambo's more reliable (home run for both!). Changes like these really do make some of these cars daily drivers for some. I work for a guy that has had several Gallardos and he drives one daily, wife has an X5. He said it is nice and quick but he had his dad's Carrera GT in his garage for a month and said that car shouldn't be allowed on the street it is so fast!

The daily driver Lambo can cause trouble for you, the week of Christmas 11 Lambos got flooded out in Miami due to the heavy rains/floods.

    So true!

My boat gets more, "oh, it's so pretty" comments from the girls

The cars seem to get more questions from guys

I pretty much daily drive the 599.

I rarely sell anything, usually trade things in on something else. So I'm giving it a shot here.

Nothing better then driving to the water in a Lambo

I've been looking at Gallardo's. A little skittish of the potential service issues (time in the shop). How has yours been? Not sure what color...Thinking Yellow

No my point is there are a lot more of them on the road nowadays because they are so much more reliable.........soooo they have to deal with real world issues like flooding, hail or whatever else can happen unexpectantly with weather. Years ago they were more "special occasion" cars, driven on the best of days only.

I heard the story of the 12 submarine Lambos from a guy that just got a job down there the week before the flood occurred.

When I bought the Lambo I was deciding between Ferrari and lambo. Difference I found was Ferrari has belts that need changed every three years. Lambo needs nothing. People are putting 20K miles on them with zero problems. Mine has been flawless.

Yea, like me sitting at a traffic light and "hearing" the stereo of the F650 when you guys pulled into gas station! At least it was easy to find you that night!!

    The lambo is sweet..!
