    The Mercury Racing 525EFI (HP525EFI) is the only current production engine approved for use in VL.

    Engines and outdrives are required to be standard production units.

    A production unit is defined as one that is available to the general public for recreational use, and is produced in quantities of 100, or more units per year. Any engine or outdrive manufacturer meeting the minimum quantity production criteria may apply to the Technical Committee for approval of their product for competition. Approval is subject to production quantity verification and determination that no competitive advantage will be realized

    Most 25's are 23's with platforms. Do Sunny's measure differently?

    Depends on if it was built with a platform is my guess. May not of been if it was for F1 back in the early 00's....

    I don't think I saw any SVL boats show. If one had showed u[, would they have run P4?

    no i don.t think so we all like to run eachother in our class svl...we would be hard pressed to run with twin engine boats,,thanks for asking ,,maybe next year ,all the org,s are working towards a great season,

    The 25 sunny's measure 23'-7", and they have add on platforms. They are basically the same hull as the 24' panteras.
