Ryan Falconer was an employee of Shelby's in the 60's who went on to produce engines for the Formula 5000 series,where guys like David Hobbs races for McLaren and Brian Redman for Carl Haas in Lolas. Did very well with the Chevy 5 liter (305 ci) until Cosworth introduced the DFV.

no; other than the Lambo's and the brief appearance of the Torque V-12 in Callan's boat,I'm not aware of an offshore 12 cyl racing engine.
