    Hell, even the little lakes around here are rarely that slick. It sure isn't anytime I take the fishing boat out.

    This time of the year in Florida the ocean usually looks like that, flat.

    In the late seventies & early eighties when APBA had the Bacardi Trophy
    Race from Miami to Bimini it was held in the winter.
    In the winter the ocean is extremely rough in Florida.
    It was a whole different game back in the day.
