So how do u think all this oil will pay for all the dead soldiers and all the money spend in this war ???
NO WAY...any body will make money with $ spend already !!!!!!!
And there is also NO WAY, that u will change a nation thta is fighting the same war since tousands of years over and over !!!!!
We can't fight our own war in the US ..but have to pay for others ?!
Does not make sence !
What would happen if china would tell the US .." hey we want our money NOW " ????
The usa would become china in 1 second ! we owe more $ to them then what all the land is worth !!!!

05-18-2010 09:44 AMThis is what you need to understand. Every facet of the global economy runs on energy. Everything you see around you is connected to energy- either for production or delivery. Even a minor distruption in supply can cause unfathomable global consequences. We have no backup strategy. There's no way to plant, harvest or transport the crops without machinery. There's no way to manufacture anything without electricity to run the machinery. And there's no way to mine the coal and transport it to the power station without petroleum. So now the world is unemployed and starving. If you like our present war for oil now, wait until hundreds of millions of people are freezing and starving and see who goes after what.
Take for example an Iranian suitcase nuke detonated in Tel Aviv. That's going to result in a massive retaliation by the Israelis, which brings everyone else into the game. Now the world's oil supply is cut by a third or more. I couldn't even guess at what a barrel of crude would sell for. That's if you could get it. It would surely be embargoed at a national level and distributed by need. 9/11 brought the country to its knees. And you saw how well we dealt with Katrina. Imagine something thousands of times greater in scale on a national level. What you'd have is anarchy.
And that's just a tiny bit of what we face in dealing with these issues.Last edited by Chris; 05-18-2010 at 03:03 PM.

There's an old saying, "if the bank lends you $100,000, they own you. If they lend you $100,000,000, you own te bank. China isn't going to demand their money. They know we don't have it. The only way to get it back is to let us work our way out of this mess over time. But first we must sustain an economic recovery.
The first way to make an impact, stop spending so much. We could cut back the wars and entitlemets. But each American either loves their wars or loves their entitlements. So I guess we are stuck.
