Love the seats. Love the engines and drives.

Is that the paint scheme from the Bismark?

    It does scream "Germany"

Small world, I dj'ed 2 parties for Fittipaldi at his house on key biscayne and the red boat was there, he took me down and gave me a brief look see at it.
Later he showed me some of his amazing bikes.
Have a photo he autographed for me at that time.
He is amazingly down to earth, great guy.

I think Spirit of Apache taps those kind of numbers.......

WMF I think Cig has done more creative boats in the past. This really isn't that clever......After boats like Rum Runner this boat is kind of tame. When the bar gets set really high then they do a boat like this.......everyone expected more. The fact they used a 46 (8-9 year old hull) is the one part where they could have really made an impact but they didn't. Cig needs to update their hulls.

I am glad to see Cigarette doing well, they are a Miami Institution for all of us who grew up here ,Skip stepped up and bought the company then gave it a nice big Home and kept the crews busy building these sharp new boats with the latest power.

    Nice Job Cigarette!

Looks to me like air intakes. If you look at the flame arrestors bolted to the front of the turbos, they would line up perfectly with those sections of the hatch.

It's for direct air Hence the 1,300 /1,350 Hp.

If you go standard 1,300 hp it uses the warm air from inside the engine bay.

If you opt for the 1,350 hp. Merc. does a CAD rendition of your boat to build the duct work and you pick up an extra 50 Hp. for colder air out side.

In regards to heat,..........there turbo's are water cooled.

    Hope that helps

    Jon

I think it great Cigarette got the first boat with the new Mer motors, it is not as wild as some of the boats they made in the past, but Cigarette is doing well it seems in this economy! Good for them and other boat manufacture today!!

right but once again they used someone else's product to make the premier....AMG and Mercury. A new hull would have shot them to the future with the AMG/Merc collaboration!

Sunsation built a 43 with Ilmors and Indy drives......

Why a new hull? What is wrong with the 46? Sunsation is just getting into bigger boats, good for them!! I think Cigarette is doing a great job in this economy!

"Taking direct inspiration from the all-new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG super sports car, the new Cigarette AMG offshore racer will feature more than 100 innovations included in the design, development and rigging of the boat."

I think this is the line from the Cigarette press release that had many expecting something different.
