That cockpit looks great. A lot of time must have been spent on that redesign.

I think Kevin helped his buddy build Matt's. It wasn't Kevin's boat if I recall, just a buddy of his.

Yes, the poor Apache would love to come back to OK. It's been living in hell ever since it left from what I've read.

What is the vent on the bow for? Can be seen at the 0:42 mark on the video.

    That's bad ASS

It also drives my point FURTHER in, that they never should have discontinued the Cafe Racer.

The Cafe had it's own identity, and they sold a HELL of a lot more of them than that brilliant, totally unique, 30 & 35 Top Gun! If they had updated the Cafe when they were updating the other models, I'd bet a lot that they would still be selling a 35 footer.

That dash that this guy put in, looks exactly like what Cigarette would have incorporated to match the rest of the line up. That, plus a twin step bottom on the Cafe, could have continued to be a VERY popular boat. Instead, we got a 30 & 35 Top Gun......neither of which ever caught on. I can't imagine why the "new" 30 & 35 didn't sell as well as the Cafe, being so different than the rest? Oh well, I love the rest of their boats!

My understanding is the current owner actually did the dash update himself. The guy I sold the boat to got the photos from the current owner.

    Sea-dated
I'm not sure what the vent on the bow is all about.
