Hi Jeff, during the summer in Wisconsin we're busy with horses almost every weekend so we don't boat up here, not to mention the brown water up here compared to the blue water of the Keys. The center console fits our boating style in Florida, fishing and snorkeling. It's stock and if a motor breaks down you unclamp it and kick it in the ocean

No, not yet, insurance required a survey, took 3 weeks to get the survey. The insurance company wants any defect found to be fixed before insurance. Just got the rebuilt steering rams back from Marine Machine, but have a horse show for my daughter till mid day Sunday, then I can get the parts on the boat and maybe get out on the water Sunday PM.

BBB- you can get 2 year warranty on top of 2 year warranty now (use to be only 1 year extended).
Merc retail is $3K per motor per year; real price is $1650 per motor per year

ps- about 3 hours after the above post 131; I blew my starboard lower unit.
If I didn't get the extended warranty? $6,375 retail / $3765 cost. Plus labor.
Going to fetch the boat today- too much traffic to get it yesterday. Ordered lower last night, will ship Monday and be on the water by Thursday at the latest if all goes right.
Port lower= 40 hours
Starboard power head= 67 hours
Starboard lower= 127 hours

Got the boat this AM...
I have to go show myself at a few parties today so knew I wasn't going boating today anyway, 60% rain tomorrow and work on Monday. Going out on 46 Black Thunder tomorrow if I'm not too hungover and it doesn't rain. Boat will be wet by Thursday from what they are telling me..
BBB- wet yet?
