Thanks to a couple of volunteers in a 31-foot Sonic in the right place at the right time, Lawrence Coelho won’t forget the day his 28-foot DCB almost sank in Lake Michigan.

07-18-2019 11:18 PMWe had dinner with Wally and Debi that evening. It was lucky he was paying attention at the time. They were actually kind of watching out for a log they had fond floating, when the DCB had the issue.
They towed him all the way back from North Port to Charlevoix at about 18 MPH to keep it from sinking. We were heading back out after lunch when the sheriff boat had us go on plane and get the heck out of the channel so Wally could tow them in without slowing down. We put a good size wake over the pier getting the triple 47 Fountain on plane to get out of the way.
I felt a bit sorry for the people we soaked.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
