Odd looking for a large yacht. Kind of like that one that went around the world, except on steriods.....

The trimaran measures 42.5 by 16 meters (139.5 by 52.5 feet), and weighs 52 tons (47 tonnes). It has a top speed of 22.5 knots, at 17 knot cruise, it has a range of 4,000 nautical miles (7,408 km)

They keep bring this "new design" out every few years dating back to the 50's...... and it really has no useable advantages over many other designs. It is not as fast as one would expect with such limited frontal area and overall size. Handling is not as good as a surface piercing cat much less a true planing hull, and fuel economy is nothing to rave about.... Basically it is like a spaceship from a 50's sci-fi movie....sleek but impractical.

Some of the different on-line comments are funny.....

Is it just me or is 22.5 knots pathetically slow? It's a hair faster than a running athlete!
