Well, Tyler and George were off their speeds in Class 4 in St Clair. They still ran fairly well, but it's not like them to not be right in the thick of the front boats, especially in their home area races.

After the race, went over to see what the problem was. They had a pretty good opinion it may have been something to do with the wrong prop setup.....

I have no idea why they think that....

Not as bad as what you guys hit from what Dave told Simmons on the phone. Saw lightning hit the channel marker in the river out from where we were standing though.

If you could figure out a way to get paid for checking the course before every race it would have to be one of the best jobs in the world....

Here is the start of class 7 with my upgraded (thanks to Boden) I-Blur program to the I-Blurr ....

Nice, huh????

Louie was running very strong, then broke. Talking with him after, most likely a blown motor....

Simmons Marine and Saris Racing had one of the two best contests of the day. They battled for lap after lap, Simmons in the lead, never more than 100 feet apart. With about three laps to go, Saris did finally get by. But then, shortly after that, Saris broke down and Simmons immediately took the lead back and maintained it for the win.

It was a classic battle, and I think both boats actually hosed the other one a bit.

CLASS 4
1st - 404 Simmons Marine
2nd - 469 Crockett Rocket
3rd - 422 Erie Monster
4th - 441 Saris Racing
