During the SBI Michigan City Grand Prix, Cat Can Do got a little bit out of shape coming down the straight. I have to believe, at somewhere around 160, Serious Butt Pucker occurred......

They were really hauling staying ahead of Wake Effects. Interesting that a 20 year old boat 40' boat with 1700 HP engines could consistently stay ahead of a 48' boat a few years old with 1800 HP engines. It was a very exciting run until Cat Can Do lunched one of their engines. I guess the 12th race without rebuilds was one too many?

And, interestingly, they did not slow one bit after that water dance. Kept the throttles down.....
