What's Happening
Unfortunately, the weather has changed our plans for this weekend. Due to the status of the storm upgraded to a Hurricane it must be cancelled. We are working with the Coast Guard, county and City to reschedule the Ocean City Nationals for the weekend of October 16, 17 & 18. Stand by for further details.

At this time OPA Racing must announce that the Nationals that were to be held in Ocean City, Maryland has been cancelled and cannot be rescheduled. We would like to thank the USCG of Ocean City in issuing a permit for the possible reschedule of the Ocean City Grand Prix in such a short manor. However, we are unable to go forward and reschedule this race as we are unable to secure assets required to produce this race and has been deemed impossible as they are unavailable.

We would also like to thank the City of Ocean City, Phil Houck & Bill Purnell in their efforts in trying to produce the race in Ocean City.

The OPA Nationals will now be held in conjunction with the OPA Worlds in Englewood Beach, Florida!

The National Championship race will be held on Friday, November 20th. This race will be the finale of the OPA National Race Series and determine the National Champion in each.

The World Championships will be a culmination of points from the race on Friday, November 20th and conclude on Sunday, November 22nd. Both days of racing will be full length races with full points awarded for each day.

I wonder who will show up of the Extreme boats? Every boat in the class would have a chance to win the National Championship and the World Championship, depending on who shows and who doesn't.
