J john acosta Member Feb 3, 2020 #9 For sure . When oss reared its ugly head ,the sport went to more inland venues ,( small water ) Real boats were too heavy due to proper construction. I leke fountains etc. but after being in them ,and being in a phantom 38 or a formula etc.it was obvious the safer choice was the better built hull.
