Boat Mag Stands/Racks

I have about 15 years of boat magazines. I'm constantly digging through them for references or pics, and they always end up in a mess. I've tried stacking them, standing them up, and putting them in smaller piles.:banghead:
Somebody out there must have a great Idea or already have something built that works, lets hear some ideas or show some pics of your shelves/ racks.

I have a bunch of 4 tier mag racks each holds around 40 to 50 mags! The wife was just complaining the other day about them being stacked up in her closet! If you want a few pm me your address I"ll send them!

Funny thing , my wife was just complaining about the same thing and my mags are also in the closet .:rofl::rofl:

I have the same addiction. Never toss out magazines. Powerboat, Extreme, Hot Boat, etcetera, from about 2000 to recent or end of publication. Yachting to Flying, Excellence, Road and Track, PCA stuff not just magazines. Have two storage lockers and a cottage in Bellingham, WA and my house all with piles of good stuff.

I tried the large plastic storage bins and neat piles. Only semi organized. Over last weekend the DIY channel has a show "Garage" something, they make over peoples garages. They did Leno's house garage. Built nice wall book shelves units and put his extensive magazine collection in binders. I'm thinking of doing simular.

I used to be guilty of having years and years of magazines. I mean some going back 15/20 years.
Over the past 7 years I've moved 5 times and 4 different states. Each move I started dumping boxes of magazines in the trash because I didn't want to move them again. (I gave one of my neighbors about 15 yrs of Playboy a couple moves ago).
