Thanks. Who knows what is around and under that 109 year old building. We removed a gas tank back in the 80’s and had that tested. It passed. There was a tank out front 70 years ago, but that was removed 50 years ago.
There was a guy named Welles Crowther who could have gotten out of the South Tower. He had his secretary call his mom and tell her he was ok. But then he started helping people find their way out, wearing a red bandana over his mouth against the smoke. 18 people have credited "the man with the red bandana" with leading them to an exit or helping them get out. He found groups of people and guided them to stairwells. He had that bandana since he was a kid. People asked him what it was about. He said one day he would change the world with that bandana. He saved many people, but he never got out. They found his body in March 2002.
September 10, 1982 Donna and I entered into wedded bliss. God willing, I will continue to love, honor, cherish , respect and protect Donna for many more years. She is my rock.
