Will Smith & Phantom Speedster Hit 128 MPH at The 2025 LOTO Shootout

A bit of a wild ride because of the new course not being nearly as conducive to speed runs, especially after the trap. People I chatted with there said it was not completely straight from the start through the shutdown area.

With the previous management, he would have been disqualified because of, "unsafe" actions, going outside of the course. The new group doesn't seem to care about safety being enforced throughout the entire course. Hopefully it doesn't cause a serious accident to occur.

Will having to change course, turn right after the trap, to keep from hitting a peninsula, certainly caused what appeared to be a crazy chine walk at high speed. Good thing he is very experienced from racing and poker runs.

He is not the only boat that would have been DQ'd with the previous safety management team for not being able to stay on the course after the trap.
