I looked on there...Only three Courses in the States....Two in Michigan, and one in Illinois. If You're playing the Detroit

Country Club....You can get an Armed Caddy for only $5 more :giggle:

It was Bloomfield Hills. No armed caddy was necessary. The windows were even down on the aston martins and ferraris. This is the Beverly Hills of Detroit. God dam was it nice. When we arrived, they swarmed us like a pit crew and took our bags, our shoes, and our truck. First the pro came out and welcomed us, then took us to the pro shop in case we needed anything. Then they took us to the Men's grill, which is the nicest restaurant I have ever been in (in the locker room... no joke) where a member was waiting for us to show us our lockers. We had double lockers with nameplates on them with our names. Then we had lunch while the member answered questions about the course. Then we went to the range, and our bags were each set up at a hitting position, and they all had Bloomfield Hills bag tags on them with our full names. They had trackmans on the range. While we were warming up, our caddies lined up behind us and started making sure our clubs were clean and we didn't need anything. I got Mike, a 65-year old looper from Scotland who could read a green like a psychic. When I finished a stroke, I felt the club leaving my hand. It was Mike. When I landed on the green, he fixed my ball mark, cleaned my ball, and by the time I got there, he was giving me the read. "3 inches left to right, sir. Stroke firmly, sir. The grain is against you."
I shot a 45 on the front. Parred the first hole like a boss. Shot 52 on the back. I got in a bunker that was like 8 feet high greenside and lost three strokes there. Mike: "Take a full swing, sir. An inch and a half behind the ball, sir." And I was out. We finished our round, tipped our caddies and when we came out from having a drink. they had the truck parked in front of the clubhouse with our bags lined up.
Grade: A++++ The recommended tip was $120 each. I gave Mike $150. Seemed cheap. The houses were all $5,000,000 and up. There is no sign at the entrance. If you know, you know.

I Played Torrington C.C. in 2008. Practice Range on the first Tee..... They tried to recruit Me ( I was Visiting CT)

$50K for Membership a Year....Plus You had to spend $2500 a Month in the Clubhouse Bar/Restaurant/Pro Shop

I told Them that They had grossly overestimated My Socioeconomic Status :giggle:

When you played my club, they pulled me aside and said "We have a pool and a pond. Don't let your buddy swim in either one." 😁
