    This summer has been pretty bad for boating in general, but I think the forecast for this weekend sums it up rather nicely:

    FRIDAY
    WEST WINDS 10 TO 20 KT BECOMING NORTHWEST. SCATTERED
    SHOWERS. WAVES 3 TO 6 FT.

    FRIDAY NIGHT
    NORTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 KT BECOMING NORTH.
    SCATTERED SHOWERS. WAVES 2 TO 4 FT BUILDING TO 3 TO 6 FT
    OVERNIGHT.

    SATURDAY
    NORTH WINDS 10 TO 20 KT. WAVES 3 TO 6 FT.

    SATURDAY NIGHT
    NORTH WINDS 10 TO 15 KT. WAVES 2 TO 4 FT.

    SUNDAY
    NORTH WINDS 10 TO 15 KT. WAVES 1 TO 3 FT.

    MONDAY
    SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WAVES 1 FT OR LESS.

    Typical....Monday waves 1 foot or less.

    i know what you mean mike. it was been big seas up here in grand haven. seems like every other weekend people are getting washed off the pier or caught in a rip current. just do what in do. kick back and mix another.
