OK, I found the water leak in the front compartment. It's a crack in the fresh water tank. It's a 25 gallon plastic tank and was wondering if there is a fix for it or replace it. Any ideas? Marine Tex, glass, 5200 or what. Don't want to try to get a new tank. It most likely be a custom or sop.

08-17-2009 06:30 AMGo with a new tank. I doubt it's a custom size, they make a ton of shapes and sizes.
Once they get old enough to crack, they keep cracking in every one I've ever heard of.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

Boating magazine had a new product review a month or two ago that may interest you. It had a duffle bag looking bladder that you tuck inside a faulty tank through inlet/outlet openings, inflate the bag, then insert an ultraviolet light source. The light hardens the bag material and it becomes rigid. No need to remove the old tank, just add this liner...No idea of cost or actual product name, but maybe their site could help. Good Luck
