I think you are right but didn't it have bigger power at that time? I thought I remembered 850s w/blowers or something like that.

So whats a fair price for a 36 if it's clean? I like the 36's like it with the race fairing. I think $90K is about as low as I've seen an advertized price.

Baywatch's boat is the best one I have seen in a long time and if I remember correctly it was high 90s. Very clean 1 owner with stock merc power. Perfect boat as I saw it. Wish I coulda gotten it.

Is there room in the engine compartment lengthwise for transmissions? In case you wanted to upgrade to 6's?

I'd say it really depends which bulkhead configuration it has. Most of the bravo boats had a single fuel tank which extended back and there is a step in the engine room which makes it nice to sit on and work when your inside the bildge. The #6 and #3 boats had 3 tanks and no step. The staggered and short staggered boats had shortened cockpits.... It really depends how it was laid up, they were all custom for the owner.

I am pretty sure that this particluar one has the same bulkhead configuration as Frank and I with the single Fuel Tank. I have mixed feelings about the "step" myself. In my instance with stock 502efi's it is very tight to get underneath the engines when pullin the drain plugs/winterizing and cleaning the bilge. I am a little guy (155lbs) and I can a actually get between the tank and the belts with my torso to get underneath but even in my instance it requires a buddy to pull me out once I get myself wedged in there.

I hear ya. I have long arms, no problem.

The SSM boats are a little harder to get in the bilge cause there's no ledge and once your standing in there you're shoulder deep!!

If we wanted a trans set up Im sure Bobby could hook us up, its all FRP anyway. :-)
