Oneida Lake Ny SWAMP RUN Poker Run

August 1st 2009 the 5th annual Swamp Run Poker Run will be held on Oneida Lake in Brewerton Ny at the WaterFront Tavern. This run is a great good time run that can dish out a perfect flat course for the day or 5+ footers. the lake is marked very well and is 26mi long and 3-5 mi wide with a main shipping channel that joins the NYS Barge Cannal and both ends of the lake. Over night docking is available free of charge on the state pier at The WaterFront and a lodge and launch ramp is less then 1mi away. This run is to Benefit The Make-A-Wish foundation of CNY. This is a GOOD TIME FUN-RUN, we have a great time for a great cause. The price is 100 P/boat and driver, 70 for passengers and includes lunch and dinner. All hotels are very near by as well as launch ramps. Over nite docking is free and a great after hours party. Friday night is the pre reg bash from 6-9 for reg and 6 till???? for fun. 2009 Swamp Run HUGE Succsess
Well the 2009 Swamp Run is in the books, and it is the most successful Swamp Run yet,,,,,,, And Thanks to all the participants, this years Swamp Run gets a GOLD medal , 1ST Class Weather, 1ST Class Participants, 1ST Class Venues involved as well as a PLATINUM Donation level for this event, we BURIED our goal we set fourth for this event and beat it by 250%.................

This year every participant that was awarded any cash prize donated a portion back, as well as many other particpants, and many that did donated so generously it was AMAZING!!! I have a huge list of people and companies to Thank as follows:

1st all the Participants it would not be possible with out you guys, SSRipper and Mrs SSRipper for donations, PaulC800, BPatch50,1st,2nd,3rd place and 50/50 winners,APBilly,Barnzy,GLH-$inkinFastR,and 29Scarab Thunder. Harpoon Eddies and The WaterFront for A1 service, Food, and a GREAT TIME. Mother Nature for a PERFECT DAY, 100% zero safety related issues and everyone made it back under their own power, and Gary and Beach House Rocks for a floating card stop with pics. We had some really great boats and people to enjoy the day with and met a bunch of new faces. Thank You Everyone, I didn't have my camera with me as I was operating the Photographers boat for the run while he captured some great pics of everyone and he will post them soon. I will post some pics from the 2nd card stop at marker 113. Enjoy and post them if you have them.



On another note the Pirates weekends in A-Bay are here and we will be there, There is a GOOD size group of us staying at Bonnie Castle for both weekends, we have a dock on the point at the inlet of Bonnie behind the gas dock. My boat is ready but I'm not going to give it a good run till next week so I"ll be on the Baja "Wet N Ready" or 29ScarabTunder "Marmaduke" This weekend, we also have a 50' SeaRay at the town dock right by the 1st bench on the right side so stop by and say Hi and have a treat!! The SeaRay is named "Undeposited Funds". WE plan on going to 40 Acres on Sat Am to watch the run then go to Lake Of The Isles for a day of FUN!!!!!!!!! Friday we may shoot to Kingston to check out things and if anyone would like to tag along at any point of the weekend look us up or call 315-952-6729...



Also, Laborday weekend we will be doing our annual LaborDay bash in front of Harpoon Eddies with Dj Mike on house boat roof for the day and JP Shaggy hanging out for the day with us, and then back to Beach House Rocks for a night of fun with JP SHAGGY and Dj Mike kicking it up. So as always this will be KICK AZZ time and everyone is invited for my B-Day HOORAAAAA.
