If you are running as the SS class, my money is all over Cat Can Do.

Can we make a gentlemens agreement to ALL run 8200 rpm boxes? What other rules do we want?

Cat Can Do won't even plane at 8200 LOL. Ryan keep in mind that boat out ran all the SVs and TKO with twin blower motors in Harrison and St Clair. He broke out at 119 in St Clair trying to get a lane.
Good luck with CCD and Crime Pays, but it sure will be a race I wont miss to watch.Last edited by Wahoo 214; 07-14-2009 at 11:05 AM.

I'll be honest in saying my boat will get worked in SS Class, but if me being out there (even as a lapper) helps you can count me in.
I did just call Mark (CatCanDo) and he said he wont be racing seeing as he has yet to touch his boat after St. Clair last year (Blown Powerhead), but is very happy to see S.S. Class allowing Open boats to race (maybe opening up the door for a CatCanDo come back ??? )

07-14-2009 12:32 PMwho said anything about open boats runnin in ss class, you guys take way to much for granted, ss is a spec. class where all the boats are suppose to be equal,

The SS / Cat Outboard class IS a spec class with weights and rules, BUT in SBI open cockpits ARE still allowed. We want everyones input on how the rules should be. I sent out an email to everyone that I had an address for last night and only got one reply. If you have some input please email me back and we can discuss it on our class call on Thursday nite.

Different CatCanDo. thats the supercat (or whatever it was) they are referring to Mark Polker in the outboard boat. He runs it well . . . . very well.
