    Water Separator/Fuel Filter
    #1
I,m looking for a cross reference # to this discontinued Fram Filter #PCS5062M. This filter is 6" long. I've already checked w/ Teague, Eddie Marine @ NAPA and they have all crossed the # to filters that are anywhere from 7.25" to 8" long. As you can see, any longer than 6" and it's hitting the stringer. I really don't want to have to relocate the assemblies. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I believe the problem here besides length is the thread dia & pitch. He has tried most of them. The mount is from Eddie Marine and the filter it was made for has been discontinued.

If you get a chance please let me know the part #. I ordered from boatfix.com only to find out they too are out of stock with no replacement available. It seems like someone would have the 6" version. Who knows? Thanks

Cross it to a Wix. You'll be happy with the quality.

That's what used to be on my boat and I have the KE unit. I've been using the Wix replacement that has the drains on the bottom. If you need the number, I'll look at the spare pair when I get home.

It's pouring down rain right now here. I'll walk down to my boat when it stops and get the numbers for you.

    Dan,
Sorry about taking so long to respond, but I have bad news. The WIX filter # that I switched to is WIX 33418. The problem is that it's about 7.5 inches long + the petcock on the bottom of it. Too long for sure for your application. Sorry about the mis-info.
