He should have been talking him in.

Too many races lead and lost near the end. I called a crew cheif swap at least 4 weeks ago.

Nepotism does not always work. I think this is a good move. How about KB taking a shot at Jr. in the interview? ...and Jr. shooting right back. Gotta love it.

Hey, where's Sean H? He's our resident guru about NASCAR. I miss his uninformed opinions passed on as facts.
    Athiests better pray they're right.

Dale Senior was my guy forever. Wish he was still around.
That being said, Jr. is the most overrated driver in NASCAR. Not the worst by any stretch, (Andretti), but the most overrated.

Still like him though. Pretty decent guy.

Not starting anything. Just what I think. Everyone expects him to be as good as his Dad. He's not.

I could not agree more. He is NOT Sr. He is not in the same league as his team mates, and he's a top 10 driver on his best day. And this is hard to argue.

I think he is as good a driver as others. Problem was his cousin wasn't as sharp as the other crew chiefs. I don't know how the new one is but if he is good Jr should excel.

Hope you're right. I don't think so. He's had some very good cars and very good teams. And he's had like 150 top tens. I just don't think he will ever win a championship, let alone multiple ones. He makes too many dumb/forgot to think moves when it matters the most.

But he has won the most popular driver trophy every year since his Dad passed away I believe.

A true test would have been to put Dale Jr in Jimmy's car with Chad Knaus as the crew chief.

Dudes, Jr can drive a car. You think Rick Hendrick would have signed him if he couldnt drive? Had enough of those with Mears, Vickers, and Craven. He surely didnt need any help with sponsor money being that Jrs sponsors were already there (Hence no budweiser). Give him a few races with McGrew, a pure Hendrick-bred chief, to race well in that organization. And Knaus is the smartest chief in that garage, hands down in my opinion.
