Breaking News- Obama is Going To Lose
    #1
McCain keeps inching up in the polling.

    Plus, I'm hearing about the Bradley effect first-hand ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradley_effect )

My son is a college student- a young conservative in a den of libs. Many of his classmates talked and talked about supporting Obama. Plus, they're being force-fed early voting (one prof is offering a 10-point bump on midterms for everyone that does) Many of his Barry-O supporting friends are confessing to not being able to pull the trigger on Obama and are casting their ballots for McCain.

There is hope, my friends, there is hope.

I actually still have faith that those of us that have enough gumption to go to work everyday are also the only ones that are going to have the gumption to go to the polls anyway.
Aside of course from those that are getting bussed in and given a free lunch to pull the lever...

As I have stated many times in the past, I live in a very blue area in rural Ohio. Farmers, blue collar workers, and small business owners. Theese people have had old school democrat thinking beat into their heads for generations. My daddy's daddy's daddy was a democrat so thats how I roll, as much as I hate to admit it, my own parents fall into this catagory. Well last night Dad and I got into a very loong heated argument about old school vs. modern day political parties in the cab of a Mack truck on a 5 hour haul. I managed to convince a 65 year old man to vote for a Republican president for the first time in his life while we were inside a fuel refinerey. THERE IS HOPE!

Chris, the stuff that's going on the universities and even in the High Schools, Middleschools and even grade schools is crazy. A few friends and co-workers have kids in various grades and some of the anti-McCain/Pro-Obama info they're coming home with from the teachers is mind boggling.....

    Nice work man!!
I know, I spoke to my folks last weekend, and they are from that same generation. Dad is looking to retire in the next 9 mos.
He's looking out for HIM and Mom - Obama is going to give them what they want in the short term. But in the long term, it's gonna screw you and me, and their granddaughter...
I'm not sure if I got the point across or not.

Reagan was behind Carter by 12 "polling" point with 4 weeks until election...

In speaking to a political operative bud last night - he all but guarantees a McCain victory and was willing to bet a case of wine with anybody.

Somebody told my that Obama's camp went to an Alzheimers clinic and loaded the bus up, took them to vote and they all got off the bus with Obama pins. Where's the conscience? Acorn at its worst.

    fingers crossed...

You would hope that Americans in general would have noticed what 12 years of socialist(liberal) rule did to my country and that would be enough to wake up the bama supporters.

Canada finally woke up and elected the right ( pun intended ) government, albeit a minority government but at least its a step in the right ( pun intended ) direction.

If, with all the power the left already has in your government, bama wins.....you're screwed.

Youve grossly over-estimated the "average" American. By our own doing, our "average" citizen isn't too bright and isn't too motivated. Our top third carries 95% of the water.

That would explain the guys I met in South Carolina in August one year. They saw my Ontario plates and told me they were headed to "Canada" to go skiing. I asked them if they meant water skiing. They said, "no, snow skiing in Quebec". I wished them good luck.

Because, according to him, they can afford it.

In reality, they probably can. But to further that reality, they can also afford to pay $35 for a McDonald's cheeseburger. But they won't. They'll find alternatives.

I'm not so sure. The local NBC (Nothing But Crap) station said this morning that it's over and the election is O Bamas!!!! They are reporting that the lead is now 14%

I've been saying this forever. Those polls are utter bullsht! There will be major surprises. Can't wait to see the fine journalistic reporting on election night. I hate the news.
