    I just emailed him an invite to come to the board it would be great to have an european icon involved although I remember his english not being the best but I think we can work through it!!!!

    He has the best sense of humor of anyone in the history of the sport.....with the possible exception of Brownie.

    There's a lesson here...beware of the guys who take themselves (or their boats) too seriously. It's a classic symptom of people who are over their heads in the endeavour.

    No mention about the little diesel RIB that ticked off (or destroyed) the A-class boats in Key West.

    Only in Italy would you see them driving that 24 around in full business suit attire!

    I remember Gancia dei Gancia as a kid and thought is was the coolest boat simply for the fact that it had a "wing". That still looks like a cool boat to this day.

    I saw it run in Key West. Awesome. It would march by barely making a sound compared to the gas motors.

    I read an article about the story behind SeaTec Engines. Great read.
