Looks like one of those forecasts. Probably not a real challenge for those Apache guys though, just little 12 to 16 footers.

What they don't tell you is that the 10-14 foot waves will be sheer faced and be 10-14 feet apart.
    Boat breaker day.

It'll be a great day to sit and watch the water. Right now it's not doing anything too bad out there.

Those strong westerly winds have cleaned up our swell and will start blowing them flat in the next day. Today we have a small craft advisory with a 6-9ft. ground swell with an offshore wind, wave periods 10 seconds.

    Winterized the boat yesterday morning...

Sit and Watch? Those Bayliner guys could do that. Launch, launch, launch. Then we could all watch you.

She's already winterized for the season. We were lucky to get a nice rough day the weekend before we pulled her. What a riot we had out there. I wished there would have been a helicopter and video around that afternoon!

sheri and i just got back from grand haven. ran out to the cottage to get the furiture from the deck before it blew off. the waves were at least 8' in the lake. some of the spray was already going over the lighthouse. in the channel they were all of 6' rollers. we did see 4 surfers out by the pier. and that was 9:30 to 10:30 am. and the wind was not blowing that hard yet.
