there are a lot of old hulls down here, I wonder if anyone would be interested in a thread with pics of a badly abused / abandoned hull, we could take photos of the hull as it sits ,and then do some research and get some pics of it when it was new (or a brochure photo) maybe dig up some interesting history.

Here's an old 16 Donzi that I picked up for Sean. It was originally an I/O but someone converted it to an outboard.

Sean has planned a full restoration.

So Bob, whats the story on that 27 Harley that was sitting across from Home Depot a few months ago? I need a bigger fishing boat.

Does that old blue thunder floating advertisement ever leave the lift?

Heres my old Stryker Stealth. The worst luck you could imagine! Sunk the first time due to bad thru hull. Second time due to cracked bellow. Last time I hit a submerged log and lost the outdrive and the $500 prop I bought a month before. I spent so much time and money on this thing but I never felt the love. Here it is in a salvge yard. My friend told me it was there but I couldnt believe it. Some poor SOB bought it. Wish them luck!

This is awesome! And thank god it didn't turn out to be a thread about testicles.

Incidentally, I have heard that this boat was fixed badly (although don't know firsthand)... ask A LOT of questions if you ever think about buying a CF Top Gun off the West Coast.

It was inside a rack storage facility that collapsed during Hurricane Wilma.

I could drive about 5 minutes down the road and get some shots of a Cig 28 SS going to hell, but I think it would offend Lucky Strike. If I remember right, the boat sitting there was his first Cig.

(On a positive note, I noticed recently that it's shrinkwrapped now.)
