Today we laid to rest a great friend, father and husband...I wanted to just say that the brotherhood we have here is unbreakable and that was proven today. Thanks to everyone who showed support in so many ways to the friends and family of Pat. I know that sometimes we all don’t get along like we should but please remember that we are all here for the same reason and that make us brothers. Its an honor to be a member of such a great group of people and thank you.
p.s. I have a lot more to say but I have realized I am much better in person then typing……….

Mikey the loss of Pat will be felt forever. He was always helping, always having a good time and was one of the family of racers i have come to know over the last few years. He helped us get our boat back together in Cambridge on saturday night while he was helping several other teams and you could tell he really enjoyed that part of it as well as the racing. Thrashing to get your busted stuff fixed to go out and break it some more. I'm going to mis Pat

10-24-2008 08:35 AMAt the service on Wednesday night Mike told some stories on Pat and had everyone laughing and thinking about the good times, that is how Pat would have wanted it. Godspeed Pat and watch over your fellow boaters, we can use a guardian angel

The turn out at the viewings on Wednesday and the funeral yesterday was HUGE! Pat touched so many lives in a positive way and that showed.
We are going to miss not seeing him on our local waters and at the races.
RIP

GOD SPEED FRIEND!
Mikey hit the nail on the head you wouldnt have to know anyone at a race when you showed up, but if something went wrong and you needed help you would have 2 hands full of friends by the time you left! Thats what its all about. The commroderey by all the great people in our sport keeps me in the boating community year after year.
Thank you friends!
