03-02-2009 12:27 AMI always loved the desert, spent two years at nellis afb (las vegas) it is kind of like the ocean, you can look out over the vastness of it and daydream, plus both the desert and the ocean have tried to kill me a time or two, my own fault of course but who doesn't love a dangerous lady

03-02-2009 03:21 AMWe ran out at LVMS a few times. Even with a grid full of GT-1, A/S and other V8 powered GT heavy metal waiting to roll off, the AF guys would still show us up every time.
Last time I was there, two F15 took off, put 'em on their tails and went straight up out of sight on full burner. We all stood there with our mouths hangin' open...
