    They say they are having trouble with this one. Am I missing something? If you have a domestic violence "conviction" against someone you were dating, it's okay for you to go buy/own a gun?

    “Boyfriend loophole”: Currently, people who have domestic violence convictions are barred from owning a firearm, though this restriction only applies if a person has been married to, lived with, or has a child with the victim. The gap in the policy is known as the “boyfriend loophole” because it excludes people who are dating but don’t fall into the other categories.
    Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

    Looks like they are getting closer to actually having a document to be reviewed. Until I read it, it is impossible for me to decide if it makes things possibly better, or if it is just paper to make them fool Americans on both sides of the aisle by constricting law abiding people's rights.

    They still don't have the entire story of Uvalde straight. A lot of finger pointing and little resolve.
