    Everyone I talk to so far seems to think they will be slower. The 300 4 Stroke weighs more, the center of gravity with the 20" shaft instead of the 15" shaft will be higher, the added weight will be higher and further behind the boat, and the 4 Stroke doesn't have the torque of the 2 Stroke.

    It will be interesting to see who is right.
