Todd Haig continued his dominance in the sport of water skiing, with another title run at the Catalina Water Ski race on Saturday. Haig was the overall top finisher, winning the Men’s Open division with a time of 55 minutes and .03.28 seconds.

Haig has been posting wins in, not only the Catalina Ski Race, but in world championship events since the late ‘90s. Haig is from Redlands, California, according to media reports. Matthew Klee, 18, of Harbor City took second place with a time of 58.47.97. Klee looks to be a potential star in the sport, having taken up water skiing only four years ago.

Cameron King won the Senior Men’s Division and was the third overall finisher with a time of 1:02.18. Mason King, of Huntington Beach, was the fifth overall finisher and won the Junior Boys Division with a time of 1:07.59. Goldsmith is a former member of the US Junior team.

Amy Threlfall won the Women’s Open Division with a time of 1:26.42, edging out Mary Maher, who finished in 1:26.56. Threlfall, from Palmdale, is also a former US Formula 2 Water Ski race team.
