Evinrude V8

I'm looking for a mechanic to rebuild a mid 80's 24' Outlaw that came w/ V8 Envinrude outboard. Anyone know a qualified mechanic near Virginia Beach?

Check out Link's Outboard in Delaware, I think he does some. Also check over on www.screamandfly.com there used to be a couple of V8 gurus over there. It is not a job for just anyone but they run good with a few mods.

on cape cod mass, theres JEB BROWN He raced those v8s on a couple of boats and is one of the best mechanics I ever met 508 566 1029. shipping should not be to bad or see if he will travel down to you. he knows those engines like no one else. he won a word championship with his 24 bannana boat in 1990 I think then in 94 built a custom one off 28'concept raceboat with twin v8s the guy has talent. good luck but it would be worth just to talk to him. artie
