I could share many stories of how expensive it can be to cut alarm wire. One story in particular first comes to mind. It was an inboard boat. Owner didn't realize the alarm was alerting him to transmission overheating. He saw good oil pressure, saw good water temp and silenced his alarm. It was quite a to do to haul and block his boat, remove his engine and replace his v drive transmission. Ouch!

I am a new to Salt Away fan. It is helpful in my fresh water lake too. It removes calcium deposits and helps reduce water spots.

How often do you run that thru the engine?

They provide a nice read about their product. I'm still learning. It says you only flush until a soapy solution comes out telltale. No need to continuously flush. DO not rinse. Leave it sit as it continues to clean and provide protection. They offer a diluted spray for use over dash and other parts of the boat. It says spray and wipe, do not rinse. I am looking to add it to my crazy man regiment of annul practices. I will use it regularly on entire boat.
