Like "key deer" they have a thing down in the Keys called a "key bobcat." Unlike the deer, it's MUCH larger than its namesake at higher latitudes. The Key Bobcat does not hunt, preferring to play co-ed rec softball. They Key Bobcat does swim short distances, but rarely runs. The Key Bobcat will usually only attack when threatened, although some studies show a negative propensity toward photographers. This is one of the reasons few photos of the Key Bobcat exist, despite many sightings.

I had a black cat named Spike when I lived at the cabin. He was to help keep mice and squirrels out of my cabin. For some reason the cats continued to get taken out crossing the road. I was up to Spike 5 before I moved back in town. I guess that’s not bad for 18 years in Horton Bay.

Spike 5.. We used the alphabet on our hens. Started with an adopted hen Attila, lead to Betty, Carmen, Daisy and Ellie.

Cleaned the Bodyshop loaner car last week. There was a brown egg under the hood. I believe one of our customers has free range chickens in their neighborhood. It rolled in by the wipers and got under the hood.

I don't know. Was it someplace hot? Maybe they live exactly three minutes from work.

Didn’t look at the temp. It’s that kinda cold, when you go outside you can’t breathe. Poor Andy is off to work at the Mountain (outside). YUCK.

Here in Holland it's a balmy 14, windchill 5. Probably 4" to 5" of snow overnight.

    Heading back south tomorrow.

I hung the garage heater from the ceiling today (two 24" 12 ga. unistruts over two rafters in the attic holding four threaded rods.) I'm too old for this ****. Turned out nice though. Now that it is mounted, I can do the rest. Very short vertical B vent through the roof. Gas line. Electric. Thermostat.
