I laughed when I posted it. I told Heidi that pontoon has not moved in three years also.

08-27-2021 10:55 AMSounds like the perfect Bobcat projects!!!
He can fly up, buy both, tow one back with the other. (After he stays at your place and works on them to get them both running for a week).Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

I’ll give him the same room the Mark stayed at for Boyne Thunder.

We went from a Powerquest to a boat fill full of air. Man we have had some fun with it. No idea how many miles we have put on it. Miss the PQ once in a while. Nice to have the fiberglass boat for back up. We have been more places with the RIB then in the PQ for almost 10 years.

Ma Nature put on a hell of a light show. At one point I thought the glass in the bedroom was going to fly out. Good news is we still have power.

The last year we had the PQ we were in Suttons Bay marina down the road. A storm like last night hit. Not cool. Heidi finally got up and went under the pavilion with some other people. I stayed with the boat. Not cool bouncing around in the middle of the night. It took me a couple days before I could walk a straight line.

I was in 12 footers in a 26 foot cruiser once when a storm popped up on Lake Erie. The problem wasn't so much the 12 footers as the 10 foot intervals between waves. If the engine had died we would have gone down. In the same storm, I know a guy who ran aground in what is usually 14 feet of water. Bent his running gear (inboards) when the lake picked him up and dropped him in a trough.

I didn’t realize the water level changes with the wind on that lake until 2005. We looked at a boat in Monroe. Every boat in that storage facility had a broken skeg.
