It's Official...Cylinder #5 is a Water Fountain, and the Starter didn't break the Bolts...it broke the Block...Getting quotes on used and Reman's..
It's either dump a Thou into this, or into the E-250...
I can buy a slightly Tuned Reman Long Block for $1250 , or a Used Fully Dressed for $750 delivered no Core Fee.

Damn. I hoped it wasn't water. But there was almost nothing else it could be.
I have invested a considerable number of flywheels and starters into my education on this.

The Water has been the problem all along...Multiple Misfires on #5.
I've got the Machines , remember I used the Lull to pop the Powerhead off of the 200 Merc.

Back in the early 80’s as service manager we would dump water down old ladies carbs. Carbon would build up on top of the pistons, Bud would go get a coke bottle, fill it up with water, then rev up the old ladies car and run water thru the carb. It cleaned the carbon off the top of the pistons and the knock would go away for 6 months.

Heard of drawing Sea Foam down the PVC to help clean up and loosen carbon before replacing plugs in the 5.4 fords...
