That boat definately did not come from Cigarette rigged that way, if it is even a Cigarette to begin with. There were many Cig 28 & 27 Magnum hull pops over the years. Some were served cease & desist orders, others not. That deck does not resemble anything Cigarette ever tooled up, on a 28. It was somebody's pipe dream.

Not saying it is for sure a Cigarette or not, but it does resemble the open deck. It resembles a single engine open deck. Once I removed the engine box, you could see where a box would land for a single engine. Problem is, is that the stringers would never accommodate a single engine. Could someone have closed A deck in? Almost anything can be done with glasswork. The transom board inside also resembles other 28's I have seen. It has a taller center section. The title also states Cigarette.

Sorry, I guess with that engine box it could have had twin inline 6's. Thosecould have fit between the stringers.

Sure would be nice to figure out its history. There could not have been many (one?) that were like that.

I would love to find the history! I know it was green and white at some point.
