Vehicle crashes onto docked boat
Driver was seriously injured

SPRING LAKE, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman was injured after she crashed her vehicle onto the bow of a docked boat in Spring Lake.

Rescue personnel at the scene told 24 Hour News 8 the woman was driving in a Holiday Inn parking lot when her vehicle backed into a front loader. She then shifted her Toyota RAV4 into Drive, went between some trees and crashed onto the boat at the nearby marina.

Police received a call around 5:50 a.m. Thursday and arrived at the scene in the 900 block of W. Savidge Street.

The woman was taken to a hospital after receiving cuts to her face.

Nobody was on the boat at the time. The owners of "Here's Waldo" are from Grand Ledge and en route to the scene to assess the damage to their vessel.

Crews used a crane to remove the vehicle off the boat.

So she backed into a front end loader and then took off and drove onto the bow of a boat. Was she drinking or high?

She should have moved the car AFTER she slept at a Holiday Inn.

Of course I can't drive, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night...
I will be attending a wedding reception there next weekend...wonder what they will have in store for that.
