    Work!!
    #1
We have started to put the boat back together after some work was done. It has been aweful quiet around here and I thought it would be a good idean if we shared what work if any we are doing to our boats.

We had some minor fiberglass work done to the inside of the engine compartment. We are going to be repainting our complete engine compartment.

Will Smith did all the glass work and has fabricated a new skid plate, our old one was bent very badly in the rough waters of Orange Beach.

We are also installing a new steering wheel column and quick release system.

Also thanks to Barney Rubbles, we got a new cockpit cover and all new stickers.

All drives are being rebuilt by Warren over at Will's shop.

Our engine is getting, new oil, new filters, gas and oil, new water pump, new raw sea pump and new fuel pump.

Lets hear what you are doing to your boats!!

Looks good Wil got a chance to see it first hand when I dropped the IMCO boat off at Wils shop for some work. Looked like it was close to being done. Now the fun part comes putting all the pieces together, and testing .

    Boat is looking good wil!

Randy had the oil changed before Biloxi last year in typhoon, he says we should be good there, we put fresh grey tape on the fuel inlet so it's got a fresh fuel cap!!! The drive lube leaks pretty good so by keeping it filled up Randy says it changes itself so good there!, Hopefully the drywall screws and caulk hold that neck on the ballast tank from the damage in orange beach!!

The starter works after you jiggle the handle a couple times,,, good to go there!!!

Looks like typhoon is ready to rule the seas once again!!!!!! Watch out boys!!! Were ready!!!!!

    Mark,

    Good to hear from you.

These are the teams that are going 100%.

    1.Typhoon
    2.Simmons
    3.Tug It
    4.Pirates
    5.Time Bandit
    6.Us

These teams will go if the boats are ready.
    1.Steve K.
    2.Steve M.

    Imco is on the fence.

With a long , flat course it makes it ideal to break all these boats in that have not raced in a while, especially ours!!

I am looking forward to seeinf what Steve M. can put down for a kilo speed. Maybe Imco shows up at takes it all.

We will see, you and Jennie should come down.

It's a good strong maybe. No required dirt bike races that weekend.

The kilo stuff might be good, Biloxi is fast!!!

    Did Imco sell?

I mentioned Biloxi to Kurt with our old boat, but they don't want to leave Florida. Prize money might be an enticer though.

IMCO did sell, the new owner had the boat at Frank Soro's shop the last I knew working on it. The throttleman from Crazy Chicken will be on the sticks I believe with the new owner.

Prize money is great for Biloxi.

I've talked with Chris on the new SVL he is building, he believes he may also make it in time for Biloxi. He is pushing hard.

Nope just a spectator. If the endurance type racing grows, I could maybe see that in the future.

Please don't forget to install a telescope with mount on your dashboard. This may assist a bit in seeing which way I went.

I talked with him a couple days ago, it sure looks like he'll make Biloxi. May be in a P Class for dialing in, not sure how much dial in time he will have.

Your's is sure looking good. Doesn't look like you've adopted any of Typhoon's speed secrets that Lance was giving up yet...
