My Dad has decided to sell his home and move on,
its 1 mile from Biscayne Bay, 3 miles from downtown, 8 miles from South beach, 56 miles to Key Largo
upscale area, some restrictions but not a gated community.

good luck with the sale, suggest to him to cut his grass, watch the HGTV home selling and staging shows and then take new pictures, it's competitive out there

That carport roof structure is not to code. They can't be secured to the ground like that, have to be on wheels, believe it or not. What else is not to code? X 2 on upkeep & staging & new photo's. Good luck with the sale.

That sounds ridiculous. Not that I look all that intensely, but I have never seen one on wheels. What is the logic behind that code?

Yes, I agree, its illogical. Her's another one. In south florida, you cannot have a boat on a trailer in your front or side yard grass. Not even for a day. But, if you place a concrete patio stone under each tire of the trailer, it is within code. So thats what everyone does. Kooky. Get with your local code enforcement for the details.
