Frank, your right on the money !!!! 100%
the schedule is tight enough and for some to make it even tighter is just not good for the sites ot the racers !
the other thing is that most knew way to late abpout the 50% off in biloxi and made other plans before.

05-14-2011 07:03 PMwell P-1 doesnt even have any boats in the states according to another post,
so likea hard way to get momentum for something and not even have boats to represent.
The schedules have always been a pain, Like I said Woody Baily and crew put on a great venue for the races and fans, and I'm sorry that this is the way it turned out. sure hope Cocoa Beach has a better showing. One thing can be said about Biloxi at least every class has competition. Some where in Kenya a village is missing an Idiot!

05-14-2011 07:07 PMPete,
I'm sure they will make the best of it and have a good time. There are some great race teams there and I'm sure they will put on the best show they can.

05-14-2011 08:10 PMWho's the ones selfishness?? and childlike behavior?
I have personnally never been able to race in biloxi. However I would hope that these towns that are thinking of planning for races would probably do some research and know what is or isn't going to be coming from past results.
You often hear " Past results not indicative of future....." but it does kind of hold true.

Bilge ,OSS usto have
8- 9 super cats
8-10 cat lites
5-6 super v.s
6-7 svl.s
5-6 cat outboards
but thru the years ,for one reason or another ,their arn,t that many in each class any more...many reasons set the tone for todays racing ,,from work,,economy, to politics ,,but each has it,s own justified reasons,,some we understand ,,and some don,t understand,,
have a great day ,be safe ,,and enjoy ,,IMCO #10- 2009 National Champions

Not to be negative, but it should be a great day of racing? with 4-SVL, 1-SV, 2- Cat Outboard, 1-750 Cat, and 1-850 Cat. Thanks to the teams that did show up, maybe if there is a next year, you will have some competition.
