Just got back from trip. Larry picked up parts from Georgie and from Will Smith. Larry already installed the cool windows.

Colby hit the water last night for our first run with the new notch bottom. Max speed was 90.4 conditions were flat fresh water,4,900 lbs, 30 pitch 5 blade 3/4 on an inch below the bottom (the way OSS measures x dimensions which is differant than OPA) and hitting the limmiter. Im sending a 31 5 blade and some spacers down to test some more. My slip numbers are to high so going deeper should help but might also slow us down with drag. I will ask Colby to post some pics.

Wil,are the windows being used as a vent? If so where are you bringing the air in from. The way they are installed I believe it will create a negative pressure in the canopy.seems like a great idea! as long as you have a relief

    Doug,

Larry is installing blowers at the front of cockpit so we are looking for negative pressure to suck the hot air from cockpit. Are we on the right track?

Larry even took the tabs off in an effort to catch that Imco boat.

The new parts are thanks to Georgie A. from Imco.

The bottom plate goes mounted under the extension box to prevent that PIA water hose from kinking and over heating the engine.

The bustle is just beacuse it looks sexy!!!!!!

Yes you are on the right track as far as air flow.I'm not quite sure where you have the black plate mounted so cant really comment on that.As far as the bussel being sexy, you must have thought seeing randy on stage in his underwear at the wet t-shirt contest was sexy too huh? to each his own!!!!

    Mark,

We went with the tractor headers for several reasons.

    1. Cost
    2.Weight savings (65lbs)
    3. More reliable.
    4. More space in engine bay to work

We will update the results when Larry test.
