Leaving for the airport now. Hope to see everyone down there, but for those who don't make it, I'll be shooting with Jeff and Pete some and try to keep everyone updated.

Stay tuned for the Rat Reports on your local SOS linked computer.

I'm sitting here at the airport in Grand Rapids waiting for the plane and it reminds me of something I forgot to put on here the last trip back from Atlantic City..........

We had a transfer in Philly coming back from the race, and the dang President decides to arrive while we are waiting for our next flight in Air Force One........

    So what happens???????????

They close the entire airport for almost an hour and everyone there who has another connection of less than that time..........

    Misses their next flight.......

I have some pics somewhere of him taxing in , in the plane......

I have a better one, I was trying to leave Green Bay during the 2006 campaign and BOTH Bush and Kerry land within an hour of each other, waited about 2 hours and missed my connection in Chicago. Also was running late to the airport and forgot to take my jackknife out of my pocket, that went over really big with the extra security

Went to dinner with Pete, Tammy, Freeze and Eve last night. Stopped by the party at Happy Harbor for awhile first. Place was jumping, but not a lot of the racers there. Must be because there is a race today

I 2007 I flew with a box cutter in my bag and forgot it was there.
I was seated in seat 1A.

I flew for work to a Dana axle plant about 1982ish to open boxes and remark them correctly. With me I carried a small box cutter (the razor blade maybe stuck out 1/4") a micrometer and a dial caliper all taped nicely in a small box. They x rayed the box and told me to open it, so I reached into my pocket and pulled my jack knife out and opened up my 4" blade and cut the box open in front of them and put my knife back in my pocket. The people at the xray machine look at all three items and determined the small box cutter had to have the blade removed, so I reach into my pocket and pull out my jack knife flip out the screw driver attachment and take the blade from the box cutter and hand it to them and fold my jack knife up put it in my pocket and board the plane

Today is gonna be calm it appears. We will shoot out on the pier I guess. See how that goes.

Sunset last night over the pier. This morning with Pete setting up. Calm water....

Saw Ray's, Pete saw a shark, saw Tarpon, and who knows what else...
