    Thanks for the pics everyone.

I didn't make it out Sunday, looks like luck held out and it didn't storm.

How was the water, rougher than Sat afternoon? I put in at Beacon at 4:30 and came back at 7 on Sat, way back was pretty rough. I know I saw the Coast Guard boat going testing Sat when I was leaving (looked like it was running well), water wasn't bad then around 4:30, wondering if that's how Sun was?

Sunday was rougher then when you seen us on Saturday at 4:30...the water was much harder to read....by the second race the winds picked up and was even rougher the our race....but it was fun water to race in....

Sounds it was similar to later Saturday afternoon then when I ran back, wind had really picked up.....or really just any standard St Clair weekend weather the past 2 summers. I've been pretty surprised by the conditions on that lake, I'm guessing the 11 ft avg depth helps it kick up somewhat

Its a great race site....I notice that the course seemed to be farther away from the fans....dose anyone know if that was a C.G. thing for there permits...if so let us know if we can do anything to get it closer for next year.....

Also....something to think about next year that is prety cool and the set up there would work that went over well in St Pete....

Before the race starts...to have all the boats in front of the sea wall and turn off our engines....and have someone sing the National Anthem....and then have someone give the famous words of Gentlemen start your engines...and CRANK THEM UP.....

The venue is set up perfect for it....

Heck, he could spend a couple weeks here. Gold Cup, Harrison, St Clair, and Michigan City all in a row.

Maybe he could do the Traverse Poker Run and Boyne Thunder for good measure.......
