07-07-2010 01:12 PMMy wife was involved in a post fireworks boat accident in 2001. I was out of town, so she went with a neighbor and his family. Even though it's only about 300 yards from where they anchored to our channel, he felt he needed to get on plane. Went over the top of an anchored Checkmate with no lights on stern to bow. Now she's very apprehensive about night boating.

07-08-2010 10:45 AMI try to avoid boating on the 4th and driving on St. Patrick's Day. Both are full of amatures!
I hate reading about these things, even if your not at fault it can leave an emotional scar if someone gets hurt.
