    Just did some rough math...that pic of the boats in the parking lot is showing appox. 6,720 horsepower...

    Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, green weenies.

    Not much boating to speak of on the river itself...idle only. The big draw for South Haven is the town...everything is walking/stumbling distance...good food, good drinks...we haven't been in trouble with the police yet...

    And there's no such thing as too late...you could still try to get a slip on the north side of the river...a bit more walking to get to the bars and the festival itself...or you could just pedi-cab it. It's a fun town regardless of what weekend you go there...

    Still thinking about coming and just putting the boat in the water to run up to Sausagetuk with everyone for lunch and then pulling it back out in the evening and just hoteling it for the night. Not sure what I am going to do, as I now might be taking a road trip elsewhere this weekend.

    Or bring a inflatable boat with oars that u can paddle urself across the river to the southside harbor.
