Nice! I think I must have loaned Benny my trailer and forgot about it. Man, that's such a great looking boat. Thanks for posting.

Bobcat,
Back in 1994-95 It would run right at 90 MPH on GPS with incredible acceleration.
Here are a few pics. from 1994.

sick boat! so question, when you strap the motors to the bracket, you are no longer able to trim the boat correct? what is the point of strapping down the motors?

04-15-2010 12:46 PMThey are not strapped, they are bungees, and they stretch. You can trim to a point, I would not trim them up to trailer mode, but the bungees will stretch over the useable trim range. The purpose is like a shock absorber, upon re-entry, the force wants to rip the motor off the back, this softens the blow.

Josh, I see that on a lot of outboard powered race boats. I believe they're bungies that act as a stabilizer. The engines are a massive lever arm on their attachment points and the steering system, so (again as I understand it) those bungees keep the motors from bouncing around and effectively "bump steering" the boat. Anyone who actually know what there talking about want to confirm or deny that?
